You are cordially invited to a discussion evening on Thursday 15 February 2024 @ PHOBIANS Club, 378 Queen’s Crescent, Lynnwood, Pretoria, 18h00 for 18h30.

The discussion evening is an initiative of PhilCofEast – Philosophy Coffee in the East (of Pretoria)

Our topic: “The successes of sporting teams and the influence on the national, regional and local psyche”, will be discussed by a multi-disciplinary panel.

Willie Snyman will introduce the panel and will guide the discussion interaction:

– Wynand Claassen: Springbok Rugby Captain (and Architect)
– Dr Henning Gericke: Sport and motivational psychologist and author (Springboks, Proteas and many other professional sport teams)
– Johann van Tonder: Economist at MMH Group
– Johan Erasmus: Co-Founder Betereinders Movement

PhilCofEast, a community initiative, aims to establish a discussion platform for hot topical affairs with a spicy philosophical flavour. Held in the East of Pretoria but for all from everywhere. For old and young and for all orientations and cultures.
